Vet a freight partner before you book with them
One company check on /freight/companies screens a counterparty against VAT, sanctions, EORI and Polish registries, and keeps the report for later.
Before you commit a truck or a shipment to a new partner, you want to know who you are actually dealing with. The company check on /freight/companies does that in one place, so you are not left guessing based on a phone call or a logo on an email signature.
Open /freight/companies and enter the counterparty you want to check. Run the check and it validates the company against VIES for VAT status, screens it against EU, UN and OFAC sanctions lists, checks EORI, and, where relevant, cross-references the Polish MF and KRS registries.
Once the check finishes, you get a structured report laying out what was found against each of those sources. You do not need to interpret raw registry pages yourself; the report puts the results in one readable place.
That report is saved. If you work with the same counterparty again next month, you can open the earlier report and read it again without running and paying for the check a second time.
This is what keeps you out of the situation where you only find out a partner had a sanctions flag, a lapsed VAT number or no valid EORI after the load is already gone and the invoice is overdue.
