See who's handling every freight chat
Owners and permitted teammates can see every colleague's freight conversations in one shared tab, labelled by handler.
In Frachta's freight chat, every conversation belongs to whichever colleague started it or last answered on your side, not to the company as a whole. That keeps each thread clear and personal, but it also means a busy dispatcher's inbox can hide replies the rest of the team needs to see. For owners, and for anyone given the chat.view_all permission, there is a way to keep an eye on all of it without hunting through separate accounts.
Open the chat dock from /freight and look for the third tab alongside your own conversations. This tab pulls together every thread the whole team is running, each one labelled with the name of the colleague currently handling it. You do not need to switch users or ask someone to forward a screenshot; the label tells you at a glance who is already talking to that carrier or forwarder.
Use it when you need a quick check on coverage, for example before a shift change or when a colleague is out and a carrier is waiting on an answer. Scan the labelled list, find the thread, and either wait for the assigned colleague to reply or step in yourself if the situation needs it.
This view only appears for owners and people with chat.view_all switched on, so it will not clutter the dock for everyone else. Colleagues without that permission still see only their own threads, exactly as before.
Without this tab, the alternative is asking around the office or waiting for someone to notice a message sat unanswered while its owner is on a break, on the road, or simply not looking at that particular thread. The labelled third tab removes that guesswork and puts the whole team's freight conversations in view for whoever needs to oversee them.
