Plan Your Fleet Route From a Simple Brief

The fleet planner in /fleet/planner takes the guesswork out of matching jobs to trucks, letting you describe a job in plain language and turning that description into a working route across your fleet.

To use it, open /fleet/planner and write a brief describing what needs to move and where, much as you would explain it to a dispatcher. The planner reads this and converts it into a set of stops, then proposes which vehicle and driver should cover each one.

Once the proposed route and assignment appear, nothing is locked in. You can review each stop, change the order, swap which vehicle or driver is assigned, or adjust the plan in any way you see fit before you commit it to your live schedule.

Because the planner does the first pass of turning a brief into stops and assignments, you are not starting from an empty grid every time a new job comes in. You begin with a workable plan and spend your time refining it rather than building it from scratch.

This saves you from the scramble of a new job landing and having to sit down, work out which of your trucks is free, plot the stops by hand, and hope nothing was missed, all while the rest of your fleet is waiting on their next assignment.
