Plan your fleet route from a plain-language brief

Describe the day's work in plain language and let the fleet planner turn it into stops and an assignment you can adjust.

The fleet planner takes a plain-language brief describing the work you need done and turns it into a working route and assignment across your fleet, so you are not starting from a blank screen every time you plan a day's work across multiple vehicles and drivers.

Open /fleet/planner and describe the job the way you would explain it to a dispatcher standing next to you: which loads need to move, where they start and finish, and any timing that matters. This can cover pickups, deliveries, or any mix of stops that make up the day's work. The planner reads this brief and turns it into a set of stops.

From there it builds an assignment across your fleet, matching those stops to vehicles and drivers based on what you described. What you get is a first draft of the plan, already laid out as stops and an assignment, rather than an empty planning screen waiting to be filled in by hand.

Nothing is final at this point. You can look over the stops and the assignment, move things around, swap a vehicle or driver, change the order of stops, and keep adjusting until the plan matches how you actually want the day to run, before you commit to it.

This saves you from the slower, manual part of planning, where a rough idea of the day's jobs has to be turned into a structured route stop by stop and vehicle by vehicle before you can even see whether the whole thing holds together.
