Let the Planner Turn a Brief Into a Route

Describe your day in plain language and the fleet planner turns it into stops and vehicle assignments you can fine-tune.

The planner at /fleet/planner takes a plain-language description of your day and turns it into an actual route across your fleet, so you no longer have to build the day vehicle by vehicle in your head or on paper.

To use it, open /fleet/planner and write out the brief the way you would describe it to a colleague, mentioning the loads, the places they need to go and anything about timing that matters. You don't need to format it as a list or follow a particular structure, just describe the day as you understand it.

The planner takes that brief and turns it into stops, laid out in order, together with an assignment showing which vehicle in your fleet is suggested for each one. This gives you a starting route rather than a blank page to plan from scratch.

Nothing is locked in at this point. You can look over the stops and the assignment, move a stop to a different vehicle, change the order, or adjust anything that does not match how the day actually needs to run, all before you commit to the plan.

Once you are happy with it, you commit the route and it is set across your fleet, ready to work from rather than staying as a rough outline you still have to turn into instructions for each driver.

This saves you from sitting down with a notepad or spreadsheet trying to match every stop to a vehicle by hand, and from the back-and-forth of re-explaining the day to whoever ends up dispatching it.
