Catch expired fleet documents before they catch you
Frachta tracks expiry dates on vehicle and driver documents and reminds you before they lapse, so nothing gets caught at a roadside check.
Keeping every vehicle and driver document valid and in date is one of those jobs that never really ends, and Frachta's fleet documents feature takes the guesswork out of it by tracking expiry dates for you and surfacing reminders well before anything lapses, so expired paperwork stops being a surprise that turns up at the worst possible time.
Open /fleet/documents to see where things stand across your fleet. Each vehicle and each driver has their documents listed there, with an expiry date attached to every certificate, licence, insurance record, or other paperwork you've added. As those dates draw closer, reminders appear in the app, so you know in good time exactly what needs renewing and for which vehicle or driver.
There's no need to keep a separate calendar, a stack of paper reminders, or rely on memory for any of this. Once a document is logged in /fleet/documents, its expiry date sits alongside it, and the reminder system does the watching for you, giving you time to renew paperwork before a vehicle is sent out with something out of date, without anyone having to chase it up by phone or email.
This matters most in the moment you least want it to: a roadside check. An officer asking for an insurance certificate that lapsed last week, or a driver's licence nobody noticed had run out, turns a routine stop into something far more costly - fines, delays, and a vehicle pulled off the road.
Catching that expiry in /fleet/documents ahead of time means it never gets that far. The certificate or licence gets renewed before the check happens, not scrambled for after.
